Cheesman Reservoir is Spilling!

Picture

Cheesman Reservoir is spilling and the South Platte trout are happy! Currently there is 770 cfs flowing through Cheesman Canyon with 675 cfs flowing over the spillway (the remainder is coming off the bottom). Dave Bennett from Denver Water plans on mixing the water from the bottom, mid-level valve (Jet Valve) and the upper spillway to maximize water temperatures.
