Patagonia Baker Lodge | November 14-21, 2026

Few places in the world offer the wild beauty and pristine waters of Chilean Patagonia, and this hosted fly fishing adventure with Pat Dorsey delivers an unforgettable experience in one of the most remote and productive trout fisheries on the planet. Set in the heart of Patagonia along the legendary Baker River watershed, Patagonia Baker Lodge provides anglers with access to miles of untouched rivers, spring creeks, and scenic backcountry waters. This exclusive trip, scheduled for November 14-21, 2026, places anglers in the early part of Patagonia's fishing season when rivers are clear, trout are active, and the landscapes are vibrant with spring growth. The region is home to strong populations of brown trout and rainbow trout, many of which thrive in nutrient-rich waters that produce large, healthy fish. Pat will be hosting this adventure and helping anglers refine techniques, read water effectively, and get the most out of each day on the river. Whether you're an experienced angler or someone looking to explore Patagonia for the first time, this trip combines world-class fishing with expert guidance and a comfortable lodge experience.

Fishing in the Baker River

The Baker River system is one of Patagonia's most famous fisheries. Its turquoise waters flow through dramatic valleys surrounded by snow-capped peaks and untouched wilderness. The rivers and tributaries here offer a variety of fishing opportunities, from wading spring creeks to floating larger sections of river. Anglers can expect to fish a mix of water types, which allows for diverse techniques including nymphing, dry fly fishing, and streamer presentations. Many stretches are lightly pressured, giving anglers a chance to experience true wilderness fishing within the possibility of encountering large, hard-fighting trout.

Each day, anglers will head out with professional guides who know the rivers intimately and can tailor the fishing experience to the current conditions and angler preferences. The combination of knowledgeable guides, productive waters, and Pat's instructions makes this destination ideal for anglers looking to improve their skills while exploring one of the world's most beautiful fishing regions.
